Pours midnight black with a slight red hue out of the bottle and a thick two finger head of khaki foam.

Dark chocolate, cherry, vanilla, roasted malts, and slightly nutty,

Heavy toasted malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, and cherry notes.

Heavy-boded, medium carbonation, fruity, sweet, rather thin.

Overall, smells wonderful, but the mouthfeel is unfortunately thin.

poured 22oz bottle into chalice.

A - Coffee colored with a 1.5 finger wheat bread colored head. Fair retention that leaves a collar and some lacing on the glass.

S - Fudge, cocoa, vanilla and some cherry. I pick up mostly chocolate and vanilla notes with only a hint of cherry and some roasted malt.

T - Starts off with some fudge and milk chocolate. Vanilla creeps in and brings with it slight cherry notes. The roasted malts give it a slight bitterness to keep it from being overly sweet. I pick up far less cherry than other reviews suggest.

M - Medium bodied and not as smooth and creamy as I would like. Carbonation is decent.

O - My first of the Abductions series and it was decent. I like that it was more chocolaty and less cherry. It was also not overly sweet like some fruited stouts.

Dark brown, verging on black in the glass. Moderate head that recedes rather quickly to bubbles lining the glass. Some alcohol on the nose. Cherry flavor is just enough to be nice and not overwhelming. Medium body. A nice cherry stout.
