Awesome they brewed this will vanilla beans also. Pours ruby tinged dark brown and sits midnight black in the glass with a creamy, dark mocha-brown head. The cherry does not pop out intensely in the aroma, but it is definitely there. Big dark chocolate bitterness and some medium roast coffee beans. The vanilla addition yields more of a milk chocolate and lighter roast coffee. The cherry blends very well - a tart and sweet cherry presence cuts through the chocolate and coffee. As it warms it all jells better and surprisingly some citrus hoppiness that come through. The vanilla is not noticeable on its own, but it's influence is felt through each flavor. Alcohol is completely hidden.
Awesome addition to the abduction crew!

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Black body. Deep black. Nice khaki head. Thick collar.
Smell - Cherry and chocolate. Kinda milk chocolatey. Not very dynamic.
Taste - Much more chocolate, but the cherry cuts into the richness of it. Makes it taste a bit artificial. Again, not all that interesting.
Mouthfeel - Medium body. Medium carbonation.
Overall - Not as tasty as other Abduction variants. Cherry really doesn't work.

Pitch black with a huge fluffy mushroom cloud of a head that threatens to overflow but somehow keeps it together.
I use this comparison with all the abduction variants so why stop now; it smells like a cherry tootsie pop. Sweet artificial cherry and fudge. Light coffee.
Sweet cherry, bitter chocolate, coffee, and anise. There is an off putting aftertaste that's both tinny and cardboard.
Medium body if not light for the style. Mild carbonation. Sweet.
Another solid abduction variant but probably my least favorite of the bunch.

Split 3 ways, ended up with at least 12-14 oz.
Brownish black when poured, creamy mocha goam billows up on the initial pour. A small amount of lace, tiny flecks around the edges. Surface is glassy and still after a few minutes.
Aroma is roasty, with a subdued hint of dried cherry.
Taste is a little more fruit forward, the cherry comes across as dried fruit, lending a mellow tartness and natural flavors, tied up nicely with the roasty, chocolatey imperial stout base. Low carbonation, cherry lends a light acidic tartness which is expected.feel is smooth and not really boozy at all. In the series this may be the better of the fruited versions, though the coffee still gets my vote.
