You might be wondering if you have ever in your life been abducted by space aliens. Statistics show (source unknown) that 99% of Americans have been abducted by aliens in their lifetime and 1% of Americans are space invaders. Reasons for this aggression, statistics say (source unknown) is due to their intense desire for the smooth, velvet brewed with cherries known as Pipeworks Cherry Truffle Abduction on planet Earth (known to aliens as planet 121302498u2239048 quadrant 102938102938102938 (alien source (statistics say 99% of sources are inaccurate (source unknown(source unknown, source unknown))).

520 batch (22oz bomber)
l: almost opaque black, some cola-brown on the edges, some light coming through. poured aggressively ended up with about a finger of tan head, tight bubbles, great looking beer.
s: not very pungent, getting roasted malt and chocolate, did not detect much cherry on the nose, just a hint of sweet booziness. thinking the 6mo aging left some cherry behind.
t: starts sweet but not cloying, middle of mouth i get roasted chocolate malt, oakiness, very faint cherry sweetness (not tart), the cherry puree probably faded as this bottle is 6 months old. as it warms you get more back of throat/chest heat from the booze, but is hidden fairly well when first poured out of the fridge.
f: i can see where people think this is too thin for an imp stout, but i still get a decent big stout mouthfeel, just enough carb to make the flavors pop on the tongue.
o: overall great drinkable imperial stout, not much of a fruit imperial stout as i could not detect much cherry, would like to have tried it fresh. the base abduction is great, excited for more from pdubs.

Batch 517-520
Dark brown pour with minimal wispy flat cola top.

Aroma of charred oaky vanilla. Scant sourball cherry candy. Dark chocolate.

Bitter charred vanilla on the arrival. Dark chocolate. Sour cherry juice on the finish.

Light effervescence. Medium body. Dark cocoa bitterness in the mouth.

Overall decent enough. Not just Pipeworks but these cherry stouts with little influence are tiring. It says cherry-the guy has a cherry for a brain-give me cherry dammit. Drink it for the ABV and again, a decent enough stout.

Tried the Coffee Break Abduction a few months back and loved it. Finally got another one from the series to try out.

A: Looks pretty great. Slightly thin looking on the pour, but still looks solid in the glass and yields a one finger khaki colored head.

S: Has some good things going on and some not good things. A nice, mellow and roasty smell with some cocoa powder and roasted malt. Just a touch of fudge in there as well. But the cherry note is a little strange. Sour and almost cherry soda like on the nose. No real vanilla here that I can get at all.

T: Just not feeling this one. Sour cherry to the point of being bitter, roasted malt and a very thin mouthfeel do not a happy boy this drinker make. Everything about the name screams dessert in a glass, but the sour/bitter aspect here just overwhelms everything else in here.

Pours midnight black with a slight red hue out of the bottle and a thick two finger head of khaki foam.

Dark chocolate, cherry, vanilla, roasted malts, and slightly nutty,

Heavy toasted malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, and cherry notes.

Heavy-boded, medium carbonation, fruity, sweet, rather thin.

Overall, smells wonderful, but the mouthfeel is unfortunately thin.
