A tropical, fruity IPA, not like any other. Actually smelled like fruit loops. Amazing tropical hop flavor with very little bitterness. Very drinkable so watch out. And great job by the fellas over at the Crop!

Served on tap in a pint glass.

Appearance: Hazy orange. Thick white head with mild lacing on the glass.

Smell: Hops, pine, citrus and sugars

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of bitter pine and hops with a goid citrus to balance it out.

Overall: Pretty goid IPA I would have this one again for sure.

22oz bottle, given as a gift, poured into tulip glass.

A - Hazy, golden hue with two finger creamy white head on pour. Head dissipates quickly, moderate lacing.

S - Brown sugar grapefruit, woody notes in the background. Very rich and inviting.

T - Rich malt balanced expertly with a woody herbaceous hop profile that ends on a mild grapefruit juice note. No flat bitterness on the finish, dries out clean and I dig it. One of the best bottled IPAs I've had in a while.

M - Creamy and luxuriant, well-balanced carbonation, dries out clean on the finish without the lingering acrid quality problematic in a lot of bottled IPAs.

O - A fantastic IPA, I wish I could get this on tap but the bottle was brought back from Vermont as a gift. Guess I have another thing to look forward to on a future visit!

They were handed out along with Lawson's at the 8/8/14 Heady Topper line at Hunger Mountain Co-Op. Who am I to refuse a new DIPA?

22 oz. bottle, cannot find bottling date poured into Belgian ale glass.

Amber liquid, decent head, good lacing, little retention

Smells full of citrus and pine. More sweet malt up front than your typical VT DIPA hop bombs. More West Coast oriented as well.

Taste is citrus and malt. Quite good. Medium bodied, a little carbonation, alcohol hidden. Good balance.

A very good surprise bottle. Will have to add to must-buys next time I am in VT.
