I strongly dislike the atmosphere of the Flying Saucer. The waitresses have generally had poor attitudes when we've been there, and they are basically advertised like Hooters girl. (They are called "beer goddesses" here.) The seats are uncomfortable....everything is wooden in an oak finish...heck it even LOOKS like a Hooters to me.
The beer selection is the best in Nashville, however. The prices are pretty par for the course, I suppose. There isn't much to compare it to around here since it is the only place that carries many of these beers.
And the food?? It's decent. My wife loves the soft pretzels. I had buffalo chicken strips, and they were 5 alarm hot.

I love the Saucer, it has a huge selection of beer on tap and in bottle. Menu is sorted by Style and it is massive. I would suggest sitting where you can see the huge chalkboard, as it has new arrivals and exits not on the menu. It is very close to Vandy, so you get a lot of young college kids which can be annoying. The food is average, nothing really to rave about. If you are in Nashville, you should go here.
