We go to Wild Ace all the time. They have great sandwiches. The pizzas are okay, but my family prefers the sandwiches and homemade chips. For their size, they seem to have as many beer taps as could fit. We have eaten there often and have not had a bad experience. Service is quick and friendly. They do get busy around dinner time, so come early / late or there is the option of sitting at at the bar or in the bier garden. Portions are such that we usually take food home for lunch tomorrow. The downtown Greer location is wonderful for us.

A handsome little pub in one of the old brick buildings in downtown Geer. Friendly and family-friendly vibe. Chatty and fairly entertaining bartender who picked out brains about our favorite styles and kept the samples and pints coming.

10 or 12 bottle selections reside in a small cooler behind the bar, ranging from Corona to Oaked Arrogant Bastard. They had 20 taps on, and it seemed there may have been capacity for a couple more. There were a few fizzy yellow or otherwise boring choices in the bunch- Miller, Stella, Guinness, Yuengling- but majority were quality selections from the area and nationwide. Ruthless Rye, Lagunitas Pils, Terrapin Hopsecutioner and Highland Oatmeal Porter were a few of the draft highlights. Another highlight was the happy hour pricing of $3.25 a pint (a $1 reduction from the regular price). Shaker pint glasses, appropriate serving temps.

We only had appetizers- cheese sticks, hummus, wings and boneless 'wings'. The first 2 were mediocre; the second 2 were decent. 2-for-1 happy hour special, though, so not a heckuva lot to complain about. The pricing of the regular menu seemed pretty average. Forgettable food aside, this is a nice little pub that I can see visiting after work now and again.
