On tap into a pint glass at Yesterdays outside Ocean City.

A--Golden, mostly opaque, a little haziness hints at some meatiness in this one.
S--Flowery. Sweet & fruity. Fruits are citrus & red (strawberries & raspberries). Unlike a standard pale ale, but interesting & makes me want to go further.
T--Sweet, almost cloyingly so. Extremely fruity; actually, a fruit bomb. Mostly red (strawberry, raspberry), but some citrus (mostly grapefruit) underneath as well. Floral citrus taste is quite apparent as well. There's a whole lot going on here and it'd not subtle, underlying flavors, it's a bunch of different tastes fighting for being 1st in line.
M--Very good carbonation. Medium feel, but in a balanced, good way. A bit of creaminess to counter the tannic hops. Very good overall.
O--Very good stuff. An absolute fruit bomb (a good thing for me). Sweet & floral would be the two best descriptors.

This beer was from a bomber bottle purchased Labor Day weekend. The aroma is a light fruity, floral nose. The color is pale amber and pretty hazy. The taste is chlorphenolic - with a harsh aftertaste. This issue makes the beer quite unpleasant and not at all American Pale Ale-like. Not exactly a flagship beer IMO.

From the brewer: Our flagship ale is a traditional American Pale Ale that uses a balance of Centennial, Cascade, and Willamette hops. The flower, citrus, and spice aromas compliment the initial bitterness of this perfectly drinkable all-season ale. From your backyard barbeques to midwinter feasts, DC Pale Ale will satisfy.

Pours a lightly hazed golden amber color, nice cap of moderately dense white froth, some sticky lacing. Scent has pleasant notes of citrus, tropical, floral and grassy hops, malt backbone lightly sweet and faintly caramel. Taste brings grassy and floral hops forward, splash of fruity hops, malts lightly sweet with minimal caramel notes, faint earthyness. Medium bodied, a touch too bubbly. Decent pale ale, hops need to be cleaned up a bit as grassy isn't my preferred APA taste.
