750 ml bottle, 2014 2nd Anniversary. Pours slightly hazy copper gold with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is piney, dank, resiny hops with some garlic and onion notes and a little sweet malt in the background.
The flavor is some sweet bready malts with a lot of bitter piney, resiny hops. Again with some slight salty garlic and onion. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and a little watery.
Overall, an OK piney, resiny DIPA. It's a bit watery with some salty garlic and onion notes.

A-pours a transparent amber with a 2 inch white foamy head with good retention.
S- Aroma of citrus and tangerine with only a hint of grapefruit
T- Taste starts with some sweetness only to convert rapidly to some mild hop bitterness. I was surprised especially for a DIPA. The bitterness was not 'in your face' but pleasantly bitter if that makes any sense. The hop bitterness is incredibly balanced with the malt backbone.
M- Good carbonation making the feel of this beer quite smooth and creamy. Really nice mouth feel.
O- This was such a surprise and I cannot believe this was bottled only once. This beer hides the 8.31% incredibly well, making this dangerously crushable. This beer would sell like crazy if they bottled it more often. As I started drinking this beer, I did not want the experience to end. This beer reminds me a lot of Trillium's Congress Street IPA.

Just loved this beer from the moment the cork came out. Perfect sweet hoppy nose, great carbonation kept those fresh hops coming at me. Bottled June 10, drank Aug 8 and what a fantastic DIPA it was. One of the best smelling hop packages I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Sweet, dry finish, the crystal malts really complemented all the varieties of hops and hid the ABV well.
One of the best, IMHO, highly recommend
Had a second and third bottle of it, and raised my rating to perfect, this is a darn good IPA

The very informative label lists the hops as Galena, Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, and Chinook and rates it at 95 IBUs. Inviting aroma of mango and honesuckle. Big foam on the clear golden brew poured in the Belle-Vue gueuze glass.
Hugely aromatic with all the hops in your life passing before your eyes. There is a vast malty undertone, but it's all golden and light. Alcohol does not really add to the taste. This gets rather sharp after some sipping, but it's balanced by the richness. Notes of flowery hops. A meaty flavor that is quite welcome in a DIPA. I've rarely tasted a beer so thoroughly tasting of tangerines, with the tangy juice and the bitter peel.
A sudsy and sensual mouthfeel with a moderate bitterness. Overall, a hugely flavored and hoppy brew but a mellow, friendly giant. From the 750 ml bottle purchased at Mayfair Liquors in Denver. Bottled on 05.09.14.

Bottling date of 05/09/14 with the ABV listed as 8.31%.
The pour revealed a crystal clear, medium gold colored body topped with a thick, foamy, white head. The aroma exudes strong orange and lemon hop aroma; some pine resin. A mild grain flavor rides beneath a juicy orange hop flavor with a bold hop bitterness bringing up the rear. Medium bodied; dry finish.
A very approachable and enjoyable DIPA. The hops are the star feature with excellent aroma and bitterness qualities. The malt and hop components do an excellent job of keeping the high ABV way in the background as far as taste goes. This beer comes across juicy and dry at the same time and makes the combination work. Another quality product from the higher elevations of Colorado...

This pours a cloudy amber color with a big, very white head. The aroma, as expected, has lots of hops--big sticky citrusy, floral hop notes, along with strong sweet malt. The flavor is quite good: high bitterness balances the substantial maltiness, with a citrusy hop flavor that complements the ale fruitiness. Quite a good mix and easy to enjoy, with a lot of big flavors that nonetheless blend quite well, in balance.

Pours a caramel golden with an off white head. Aroma is fruit, a little citrus rind, pine, and bready. Flavor pretty much followed suit. A heavier mouthfeel for an IIPA, some activity. Overall, another solid brew from Elevation here. Not that I should be surprised.Would drink again.
