You hold in your hand the liquid that launched a golden age for Witbier in Houston. Complex yet sessionable, it’s a fully committed, uncompromising Wit that finishes dry and crisp with the yeast driving the flavor. It's a very straight-forward traditional Belgian beer.

Poured from can (dated 5/7/19) into tulip glass. Golden orange color. Thick head of foam that quickly dissipated.

Better than average beer.
Look: yellow golden
Smell: Belgium sugar, light citrus, slight grassy
Taste: Belgium sugar! Banana
Feel: light-medium
Overall: better than average, just a bit though. Not really an average witbeir. A really easy to drink beer.

In a clear glass it is underwhelming. It is almost clear, watery yellowish gold, it doesn’t look like a wheat beer. It has a pretty good smell, banana, spice, cloves, sweet. At first, it has the estery banana/clove flavor but it is immediately overpowered by a strong hop presence. It totally ruins the style. It has a harsh dry bitter finish. I guess they got it half right, it’s not the worst American rendition of a Belgian wit but still not that good. Had a sixer of Leffe last week and this is not even close.

Can.
A: Moderately sweet, with a light grainy, moderately perfumy coriander, with a light herbal and citrusy character.
A: Bright yellow color with an orange hue, super hazy with a very thin head that quickly dissolves.
T: Moderately sweet with a light citrusy character. The beer is lightly herbal with coriander being moderately strong and slightly bitter from the citrus peel.
M: Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Alright; the beer is a bit on the sweet side, with a grainy character. The beer is easy to drink, but could be even better if it was a little less herbal and a little more balanced.

Poured from can into glass. Head disappeared rather quickly. Nice lively taste, citrus and spice, with a little bit of must. Well carbonated.
Nice witbier.

Pours a hazy yellow golden color with white head. Cereal grains, coriander, and some belgian yeast notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes much in the same way it started. Average at best.
