Bottle my wife picked up at BevMo in Sacramento!Pours a clear golden with short lived airy head. Big grainy nose, bread, hay. Taste follows the aroma, mouth feel is slick, a Nd had a nice weight and feel. Minor bite at the finish. Closest I've had to the real thing.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, fruit, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, corn flake, and grass flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Handsome golden color in the tall Maredsous glass. Lots of lacing with a luscious spritzy mouthfeel. Really sparkly with sharp sensation, yet mellowed by some sweet malt.
This seems to have all the elements of a proper Kölsch. It makes me think of several I've had this year that should have been called Blondes instead. But this one has the bitter tangy aftertaste with the touch of resiny hops. Maybe it has less of the perfumey notes, but it's a good flavor and thoroughly drinkable.

Poured one finger of head on a clear, light yellow colored body.
The aroma is pleasant. Dry grain with a touch of lemon.
The taste is nice: mild lemon bitterness, a hint of malt sweetness. Simple but good.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A tasty beer for a warm California day.

A: Pours a pale golden color with a thin bone white head. Leaves some soapy lace streaks down the glass after each sip.
S: Very light, but pleasant aroma. Cereal grains, faint fruity and citrusy esters, slight concord grape and some earthy yeast notes.
T: Opens with a light kiss of grassy hops. These fade into a smooth and drawn out pale malt and slightly fruity yeast note. Ends on a crisp and incredibly clean grassy hop resin note. Haven't had a ton of beers in this style, but this is easily at the top of the list. The perfect hot weather beer. I could drink a lot of this.
