Coming in a 600ml green glass bottle, bottled on 09/07/2011, BB 09/07/2012, served chilled in a slim pilsner glass. Notes: The ingredients include water, malt, rice, and hops.

A: pours a rather lively-fizzy dark straw hue, topped with a dissipating white foamy head.
S: the nose is like most adjunct-rich lager beer, featuring light dusty notes and semi-sweet corns, topped by an intense tinge of burned sugar or toasted sugar-cane as well as sweetened asparagus juice, while hops are nowhere to be found and nor are any notes of doughy sourness. Very simplistic, a tad sweeter than your normal Taiwan Beer, actually.
T: very fizzy, it feels on my palate; the swallow immediately gives lots of sweet and flat flavour of malt extracts plus adjuncts, leaving a little “powdery” undertone in the end along with faint touches of sour fruitiness. Not particularly crisp or clean, due to the sweet adjuncts, I gather. I fail to find any hop bitterness also.
M&D: the carbonation level is indeed very high, too much for the palate actually, while the body remains light yet added with additional “thickness” of sweetness of malts and adjuncts, which is short-lived and disintegrates at the end of each sip, unfortunately. Instead, a somewhat weird, “oily” palate is rendered by these hopeless adjuncts. All in all, this beer is like Taiwan Beer, with slightly less evidence of adjuncts’ influence, but altogether an unimpressive mass-produced beer one can well do without.
