375ml corked bottle, 6%abv, no label, covered in grease paper with usual information
Pour with a a red amber, cherry coloured , murky body, light creamy, almost pink head, fairly good retention. Fruits of the forest aswell
Smell is fragrant, the cherry comes off straight away, a little alcohol whiff and a nice fruitiness
Taste is effervesant, dry and very fruity, very enjoyable, fizzy and spicey, very tart
Drinkable, great with a meal, mabye italian or morrocan food, but ideally served with a dessert
A fantastic introduction into the world of lambics and fruit beers. Not a very tart cantillon but very drinkable and still a classic inmo

Poured from the tap at Stagione's in Shanghai China, A welcome surprise. Poured into a 500mL imperial pint.
A: Pure deep red color, perfectly clear. Head is offwhite, foamy, and has ok retention.
S: Cherry candy. Overwhelmingly sweet like smelling a candy apple.
T: Not as strong as the smell suggests. Good cherry pie profile. Very sweet but with some more balancing malt. Tart and sugary. Just OK.
Overall: Not as subtle as many other fruit beers/lambics. This is very in your face as a fruit beer. No typical beer characteristics aside from a side malt note. OK but probably won't want again.
Serving type: on-tap
