Poured into a pint glass. Top of the cage says 12 2012 which could either mean best by December 2012 or that it was just bottled in 2012.
A- Pours a strawberry red color with a 1/4 inch pinkish white head that retains decently before settling at a thick ring around the edge of the glass and fluffy surface foam. Full webs of lacing. After the full bottle is poured, there are visible fruit flakes.
S- Smells like straight-up raspberry seltzer.
T- Big rush of sugary fruit that doesn't let up. Slightly tart, but mostly sweet. Alcohol is near nonexistent, which brings about the classic question of "am i drinking beer or soda?" Notes of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and cranberry. Trace amounts of astringency.
M- Medium-high carbonation and a light body. Has a sticky, syrupy feel.
O- As a lambic fan, this is good, but I've had better.
