750 ml bottle shared with my fiancée. She seems to like these kinds of beers.
A: Pours a murky purplish red with a 1 finger pink tinged head. Leaves some faint lacing, and holds a full cap. Nice clear beer with ruby highlights when held to light.
S: Mixed red fruits and a slight oakiness, along with some weak base malt graininess. Sweet aroma as well.
T: Strawberry, raspberry, cherry, slight oak, and a very light malt graininess. Borderline cloying sweetness. Lightly tart. Not much else here. No trace of alcohol.
M: A little bit thin, creamy carbonation, and slick on the palate.
O: Overly sweet, not enough to make it a worthwhile beer, but if someone says they don't like beer but they like fruit, give them this one. The people calling this beer Kool Aid are being a bit harsh, but not too far from the truth being as sweet as it is.
If this beer had more tartness and complexity, it would be a damn good beer. It just doesn't offer much.
