Freestanding liquor store in a shopping area on the main drag. Fairly interesting selection of foreign and local offering, a hard-to-find beers. Friendly staff. Worth a stop.

Hole in the wall, went in there to ask directions for the Bruery. WAs blown away. Wall to wall greatness. Jester King, Melvinm Drie Fountienen to name drop a few greats outside of the local area.
Quality on all beers were good to great
Friendly service, the clerk seemed fairly nuetral on my enthusiasm . Not sure how into beer he was
If didn't have to fly back, there would've been a lot more beer purchased!

A short walk from The Bruery parking lot. I often stop by when I am picking up my orders from The Bruery.
This is a place you would drive by and never notice. It looks like any other small liquor store on the side of the road. You could even walk in buy a soda and miss what a gold mine this place is. But take a minute and start to browse and you' ll see a great beer selection.
You can walk in look around, no one will bug you. You can take your time, no rush. And the selection is worth taking your time. But have a question, ask the guy behind the counter. These guys know beer.
Prices are fair, but its not discount place.
I love places like this. Great selection, a guy that knows his stuff behind the counter, unpretentious, a business built on word of mouth.
An easy recommendation.

I had only known about Mr. K's from following him on Instagram. Stopped in while on vacation with the family. Mr. K was working that day and I felt very lucky. I notified him I was from out of town and he took care of me, escorting me around the store showing me some of his personal favorites. Mr. K seems like a super cool guy that I would enjoy having a beer with.

Small stereotypical looking liquor store that is anything but typical! Once you walk inside you quickly realize Mr K’s is a serious beer geek’s bottle shop. The selection is super extensive and is a great spot for SoCal beers, as well as other random and hard to find breweries. I don’t say this lightly, but visiting Mr K’s is starting to become more of a highlight than visiting the Bruery’s tasting room nearby.

Great bottleshop. I respect the business sense of setting up with great craft beer in front of The Bruery. They got all kinds of great shelf beers, so more uncommon stuff and some the rare stuff stuff while it lasts.

Been coming here for awhile now and wish I started sooner. Mike really knows how to run a shop and make his customers feel welcomed. If you are going to make a stop at The Bruery make sure you embrace all that is Mr. K's, you won't be disappointed.

Visited this place before going into the Bruery as they are right around the corner from each other. This store has a very impressive selection of beer, lots of craft, imports and macros. They have both refrigerated and dry beers. Prices were a little higher than what I pay for at my local bottle shops and some of the higher end stuff was not priced but when you operate on a budget price is very important (I operate on a limited beer budget). Don't live in the area but this place would be worthy of weekly visit. Definitely a place to stop by if you love good beer.

Traveled to SoCal from Ohio on business. Went to visit The Bruery. Was told to go here to find a nice selection of excellent hard to find SoCal beers. IMO one of the best craft beer selections I have seen. Wish I had a store like this near where I live in Ohio.

Mr K's can't be missed when you are in the area, especially when visiting the Bruery. It's a fantastic little shop packed with an incredible selection. They often have the relatively rare beers from the area, and they are very helpful. It's definitely a tight space, but worth the stop.

This place is located right at the entrance of the street to the Bruery. From the outside, it seems like a small liquor store, but once inside you'll see lots of solid craft beers in coolers to the side, and some on the shelves in the middle.
I thought the selection per square feet of this smallish bottle shop was really high-end. I saw the typical SoCal distro beers, but also some harder to find stuff.
For those in the area and interested in craft beers, this is a nice shop to visit.
If I lived closer, this would be one of my regulars.
Update - 1/4/2015: I visited Mr. K's again today. For a shop of this size, they had a fantastic selection.

Must visit if you are in Orange County. This store is its only 50 feet away from The Bruery. They carry some of the hard to find beers. Don't let the outside look of the store fool you this is a hidden gem. Owner is a pretty cool dude he would go out of his way to help and will try to get what you want. I frequently shop here since last 3 years and once you stop by this store so will you.
