This location has been a food shack for years. For the last few years it has been a beer bar and food place. They have a really great tap selection. Three brews from the Astoria based Fort George Brewery. The remaining taps are really good including Russian River Old Rasputin and Stone Arrogant Bastard.

The food is typical pub fare. They do have Mermaid Purses which are a paper steamed fish with other goodies. We had quick service. The food was good and I loved the beer selection.

They have outdoor seating for good weather days. Since they are close to the beach many folks visit after surfing.

The U Street Pub has 14 taps and 30 bottles and cans. My favorite was Monk's Café Flemish Ale.
The food is excellent pub fair with several signature sandwiches including burgers. I had the Ochoco brisket sandwich-very good.

There is outside deck seating that allows smoking and is dog friendly.
The service was prompt and the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about her brews on tap.
I really liked the decorations which included old pictures of Seaside and beer stuff (Old Faucet handles and Neon signs)
There are several signs posted about what kind of food they serve-very funny!
We sat at the bar and had a fun conversation with several locals from Seaside.
