What a tasty local brew.. smell's great a bit sweet.. a perfect balance of taste.. I could enjoy a few of these any time of the day, night, season you name it it's a damn good easy drinking beer for a Lager.. a tad watered down feeling but what Lager isn't.. this one is a bit above the others in this category.. all around this is a solid Lager from Doylestown Brewing.. actually it may be the best Lager I ever had.. give it a shot trust me!

This is quite an amber colored beer. Brownish tan thing going on. Beer is very malty on the flavor profile with a high degree of sweetness and a leafy thing slightly in the mix. Even though it's a bit too tangy, it still is a pretty easy drinker. I'm not really a lager guy, so I can't say I'd go back to this. But it isn't really all that bad.

I purchased this at Brass Rail Deli, poured chilled in a pub glass.

The appearance is a dark gold liquid with good clarity, thick white cap reduces to a ring. The smell is fruity with a slight sweet malt aroma. The feel is average -moderately high carbonation slight tangy texture with mild sweetness and semi-dry finish.

This lager has a slightly off flavor, not quite apple-but tangy fruity elements are present with such high carbonic bite it is almost peppery with a mild buttery element mid palate. The taste of malt comes through slightly as it warms but a little to late. Overall I reallly wanted to like this and kept giving it the benefit of the doubt, however it falls short as the shortcomings outweigh the good points...I guess it just proves it really isn't that easy to make a great lager.
