I flew into St. Louis for a meeting and wanted to find a local bottle shop so I could take some good Midwest beers home. This is the one I found fairly close to my hotel.
The atmosphere was nice, the owner was there and very knowledgeable. I told him what styles I preferred and he showed me what local beers would fit in what I was looking for. I was impressed with the large selection of beers there. Very nice shop.
I will be back in St. Louis in the future for work, and will definitely hit this store up again. Highly recommended.

I recently discovered Wolfbrau on STL Hops mentioning a free testing on Saturday at 4pm. When I saw that the location was in St Peters I was excited since this area does not have many places for craft beers. When I arrived I was like a kid in a candy store. They have a brilliant selection such as Dragons Milk and Firestone. These can be found elsewhere, but I usually have to drive to Chesterfield. I no longer have to drive far anymore.
They offer pick your own six pack, which I usually don't care for the selections at other stores that do this, but these were unbelievable and apparently they change quite often so it's a great way to try out different beers that you've never had before without having to buy a single item 6 pack. They also offer a 'mixer sixer club' card so every time you buy a mixed six pack you get a point that can go towards prizes. Definitely worth it since they change the beers frequently. I highly recommend Wolfbrau especially when you can stop in every Saturday for a free tasting.

This is my go-to place for craft brew. I live in Southern Illinois, which is a black hole for craft brews. I am in the O'fallon/St. Peters area quite often, and I automatically check Wolfbrau out every time I'm there. This store is well stocked, carrying many craft beers that are very hard to find in the St. Louis area. The Wolfbrau Facebook page is updated regularly with any new brews that have arrived. Ryan is very friendly, and will happily lend advice and input on beer selection. He will base this choice on what you are looking for, rather than steering you to his most expensive inventory. Check this place out today!

Wolfbrau House of Beer is located across the street from Mid Rivers Mall. The place is fairly small but is very well stocked. There are no BMC products to take up self space. Ryan is very knowledgeable when it comes to beers and is eager to assist you in selecting beer or answering questions. In the back there is a good variety of singles to build your own six-pack from. There are weekly tasting sessions to introduce you to new beers. This has become my regular stop for most of my beer needs. Well worth checking out.

Really good selection of Domestic and European beers. The owner was really knowledgeable and recommended a similar beer to what I was looking for that was out of season. The pick-em option was great. Also they had Fuller ESB which is not easy to find in the St. Louis area.
I picked up 7 individual bottles of Abita, Spaten, Anchor Beer, O'Fallon Rye, Pyramid, Bitch Creek, and Dixie as well as a pint bottle of Green Flash Brewing's Red Hop Ale for something Irish.
The owner also had a tasting of a few Irish-styled brews (that's what sold me on the Red Hop Ale).
