Have had many of THBC's beers but I think this is my first official review of one of their beers. Like the majority of their beers, they are highly drinkable and just great representations of the styles they are going for and this BlondeZombie does not disappoint.
Growler filled yesterday. Poured into goblet glass.
A-The body is a burnt copper with nice haze. The head was a nice, dense fingers width. Minimal lacing left on the glass.
S-The smell is all hop resin, honey due, grapefruit, mango and some dankness throughout the mix.
T-The taste is where the honey comes through. Its subtle but gives the beer a sweetness which I like. Citrus forward beer on the taste with the honey coming in the finish with a hint of alcohol heat.
M-Medium bodied, carbonation on the lower side of the spectrum with a sweet finish. Has a nice after taste.
O-A fantastic triple IPA. If I had the choice to drink this or Founders Devil Dancer I would choose this in a instance. The smell and taste are in harmony with one another and the alcohol is none existent other than the finish of the beer. Very awesome!

Thanks so much to tenderbranson69 for sharing this in growler format enjoyed chilled in tulip.
The color is dark gold with moderate haze and thick cream of 3 fingers depth. Lace sticks well and retention is great. The smell is intense with hops a moderate citrus rind odor with light grassy odor and mild hint of lemon and malt is low as is the alcohol in the aroma. The feel is great -low alcohol influence even when over 11% with moderate bitterness and and subtle sweetness with moderate carbonation and lasting bitter finish.
The Taste is great lots of grapefruit and light lemons with a nice herbal flavor verging on vegetal but more spicy than anything with a hint of malt in the middle. The taste of alcohol is there but very subtle and the hops have low astringency with a more tropical taste like mango coming through more as it warms, a very interesting array of hop tastes come through with a light pineapple -pine combo in the latter flavor. Overall this is a pretty great example of the style, very smooth and like no other near 12% beer I have had -it does taste like alcohol toward the end but the hop flavor is vibrant and the honey gives a dry finish that makes it drinkable, pretty enjoyable no matter how you look at it if you like big IPA's
