Weird Spiced Saison. Brewed with Elderflowers and fermented atop lots of blackberries. The perfect after-dinner Saison!

First had: on tap at TH

Nice ruby color, hazy, with a finger of white foam that retained well and laced the glass. Herbal aroma, berry juice, dank grassiness. Saison grassiness in the taste, balanced with crushed blackberries, seeds and all, herbal notes from the flowers, and a grainy / somewhat nutty background flavor. Not really tart or overly sweet, just kind of "neutrally fruity." Light-medium body, and decently drinkable.

Tried this at Tired Hands cafe upstairs in a half pint on tap chilled.

The color is light amber slight rosy hue with very hazy look and thick white cap with good lace. The smell is slightly fruity with a phenolic and bandaid and floral odor with mix of herbal and yeast aromas. The feel is very good with slight thick body and tangy from the fruit with gentle sweetness and moderately carbed with some mild astringency.

The flavor has lots of stone fruit and spice with light sweetness and grassy taste in the middle either hop or elderflower I am not sure. There is a slight woody flavor and spiced yeast essence in the finish. Overall I enjoyed this however it has a familiar medicinal phenolic taste I don't really enjoy as it brings a bandaid taste...I think the adjuncts cover that sufficiently but one glass was enough for more.
