Light colored lemon yellow body. Very good head production and lacing, but retention is a bit lacking. Almost completely opaque; no visible floaties or particulate.
Extremely expressive on the nose, an absolute showcase for all the complexity Mosaic can provide. Mango, grapefruit, blueberry, papaya, pineapple, mild dankness, lemon, flowers, honey. There's really more going on than I can adequately capture.
Still super hoppy on the palate, but it lacks some of the sweetness to back it up, owing to the lighter malt base and relatively tame ABV. It's by no means session territory, and the hop expression is absolutely delightful. This expression of Mosaic is almost an inverted Citra: while the nose was primarily tropical and berry notes, the citrus expression comes through much stronger on the palate. Mild pungent dankness and earth. Grapefruit peel and pulp, lemon, orange, mango, pineapple.
Long bitter and fairly dry finish.

Single hop mosaic IPA, apparently New England style.
Mosaic really is an aptly named hop, no? There's so much going on here on the nose, hop-wise: peach, mango and probably other stone fruits I'm not as well-acquainted with. There's pineapple as well to go with a mild onion/garlic thing. Shallot, I guess? It's not as off-putting as I generally find it, regardless. Taste adds blueberry and a lingering citrus. Smells better than it tastes, but it still tastes reasonably good. Mouthfeel is a little slight, but the bitterness is minimal which I know you hazebois appreciate. Ultimately not a bad beer by any stretch, but definitely not my jam.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on January 7, 2019. Brewed with oats and hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe and Centennial. Notes of sweetened berries and stone fruit.

Canned 10 days ago.
Pours opaque yellow with sticky lacing.
The nose is rich and sweet. Peach, raspberry, vanilla, and doughy malt.
The taste is a soft blend of strawberry, raspberry, passion fruit, orange...suffice it to say, it's a typical Tired Hands IPA in terms of the juicy/candied flavors at play here. And because it's Mosaic-hopped, I personally have a soft spot for this one. The mouthfeel is medium for the ABV. It manages to avoid any hop burn or noticeable alcohol.
Overall, awesome. I love Extra Extra Knuckle, and this Single IPA version is almost as good.
