8 oz poured into a pokal/pilsner/flute like glass at the bar.
Another creamy egg white whipped up one to one and a half finger head presented. Lots of staying power and much like it's SaisonHands, a lemon and apricot opaque and still yellow with some glowing character.
Ripping tropical juice on the nose, and very varied. Tropical mango, some mushy papaya notes and a soft powdered sugar sensation that isn't overly sweet or syrupy. Winning combination of aromatics, just great.
Palate follows the nose for more win. All the flavors hinted hit large and wonderfully with virtually no harsh bitterness. Juicy mango, even a good bread bakery punch of white bread on the end to spread papaya hop jelly on it. Cake like angel food sweetness, light, dessert sensing white grape wine, peaches and hints of vanilla. Once again even that full lush creamy mouthfeel that seems so characteristic with all the beers, it's all the same so far to me and great.
This one is a real winner, if I didn't have to drive 131 miles away to have one I would be pounding the crap out of this beer.

Screw-top growler received via Growling at the Moon. Thanks for the brew, Dain!
First stein pours with a 1/4" off-white head over the totally cloudy golden amber brew. Head is skim promptly, withslow-falling leggy lace. Aroma is citrus and pine hops.
Taste is citrus and pine, from back to front, with some sweetness holding it up in the middle, and moderate bitterness coming on through the close. Mouthfeel is slickery smooth, with nice drinkability. A bit rough around the edges, but definitely a good IPA

First had: on tap at TH
Hazy golden-yellow pour, with a creamy white head; nice retention and lacing. Nice blast of citrus in the aroma before I even picked the glass up from the bar, dank, notes of pine. More hoppy goodness in the taste, citrus and tropical fruits, dank, overripe rinds, pine, crackery malts in the background. Medium body, soft carbonation, great drinkability. Really nothing new here, but does there have to be? It's a great IPA all around. Cask-condition it, imperialize it, whatever you want...the original was my favorite.
