500 ml bottle, batch 2, poured into a flute

A- A Hazy golden orange color with a three finger white head.

S- Tart, white wine, oak, slightly musty, grapes/grape skins.

T- Sour grapes, white wine, slightly musty, just earthy enough.

M- Smooth, crisp, dry, light to medium body.

O- Another bmgreat beer from Tired Hands, third beer I've tried in the emptiness series and this is my "least favorite", but still a great beer worth seeking out.

A- Honey colored with a slight grape tinge. thick creamy head that is suprisingly resiliant for a mixed ferment barrel aged beer

S- Right off the bat you get grapes, grape skin, that leads into some mustyness, ripe melon, oak, very vinious character

T- Grape skins, grape flesh, I get a bold grape jelly kind of taste, not Jammy though. It transitions to the musty melon notes, some hay, earthy grape vine, wheaty malts and ends with a firm tartness that really blurs the line between american wild ale and saison.

M- Good spritzy carbination. Really solid body for a beer that has been aged with a mixed culture. Not thin nor watery. Very substantial mouth feel that really helps back the flavors up.

O- I wasn't sure what to expect from this one but it far exceeded my expectations. This is masturfully created and one of the best saisons I have had to date. This is one of those beers that everything seems to fall into place with every ingredient working in unison to become greater than the sum of the parts. Hope to get this again if/when its released again. Seek this out you won't be sorry.
