This beer is retired; no longer brewed.

Sour lime IPA. This beer underwent a primary fermentation with lactobacillus and a secondary fermentation with our magickal saison yeast. Post fermentation, we added heaps of lime purée and a whole lot of dry hops.

750ml growler into Tired Hands stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a surprising 2 finger foamy white head with moderate retention. Beer is a clear goldenrod. Lacing is stringy with good stick. Very nice considering the serving style.

Nose is citrus, dank papaya and aromatic piney hops with overtones of cane sugar, orange and lime zest. Very unique and aromatic.

Opens lemon and lime zest. Hints of citrus, pine, cane sugar and a light sprinkle of hop bitterness. Ends tart lemon and and more tropical fruit. Same aftertaste. The light tartness accents and complements the hop fruit flavor perfectly.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down dry and crisp. Slightly puckering finish with a filmy, lingering aftertaste. So refreshing!

This is really standout beer for me from Tired Hands. Very unique and the flavors really work perfectly. Definitely worth trying. (918 characters)

The beer has an aroma of lacto and tart lemons.

The follows of strong notes of lemon and lime peel. There's tartness and acidity throughout. A very refreshing brew where the citrus peel shines throughout and melds with the beer's sour notes.

Different from the other hoppy brews that were at the brewery and a refreshing beer. (328 characters)

Tap at Tired Hands. From notes.

A - Cloudy orange juice sort of appearance. Two finger white head gone fast leaving no lace or retention.

S - Lime was definitely there with a bit of tartness and citrus. Vegetal?

T - Holy tart. Tartness was much more present in the flavour. Lemons as well.

M - Good carbonation, medium body, tart puckering finish.

O/D - Interesting to say the least. Not something I'd revisit. Tasty, but the IPA title they slapped on this is a bit misleading. Not bad. (491 characters)
