Traditional ale. Brewed with oats and corn. Gently hopped with Zythos. Traditionally fermented in oak barrels that once held Flemish Red for three weeks. Post fermentation, this beer was blended and conditioned in stainless steel.

Tap at Tired Hands. From notes.
A - Poured light orange and cloudy with a film of white head that left no lace or retention.
S - A little tart, lemon, wood, mild grape.
T - Grainy, a bit tame with the Flemmish Red barrel barely showing it's character. A little zippy citrus.
M - Medium body, mild carbonation, drying finish.
O/D - This was probably the worst of their beers I tried. The barrel character was something I was hoping would jump out a bit more. Interesting, but definitely a one and done. Decent though.

The beer has yeast, a light breadiness and grassy hops.
The beer follows of mostly breadiness, and then a bright grapefruit. There's spice and drying on the finish. It's has drying similarities to white wine.
One of the less interesting beers that I tried of the bunch at Tired Hands.

On tap at TH.
Labeled as a "Traditional ale."
Hazy golden-straw pour, with a frothy white head; nice retention and lacing. Light aroma, bready yeast, toasted grains, hints of fruity esters. Taste of toasted grains and cooked corn, some woodiness or huskiness, mid-palate brought in flavors of cantaloupe--quite distinct, actually--and very light floral hop notes. Grainy finish. Body was medium, and the mouthfeel was really quite smooth and creamy, almost like a nitro pour. Perhaps this was not one of Tired Hands' best brews, but there was a crafty complexity to it that must be acknowledged.
