32oz. growler into Tired Hands stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a .25 finger foamy pink head with little retention. Beer is a clear bright red. Lacing is very spotty and sparse with little cling. Head and lace are a little poor but the color is AMAZING!

Nose is cherry puree with a wheaty, tart funk presence. Very aromatic, clean and simple.

Opens tart cherry, lemon zest, a bit of wheat and foam. Slightly watery in the middle with more tart cherry presence and hay. The hibiscus is almost entirely missing. Ends wheat, lemon and more cherry. Pretty clean and dry finish. Simple... which is nice, but a bit watery.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Foamy and lively in the mouth and dry going down. Bone dry finish with a sticky, lingering aftertaste. Spot on for the style and very drinkable!

In color, smell and feel, this beer is spot on. However, the flavor comes off as just a bit watered down. Surely sessionable but this needs a little more oomph to be at the top of its class in the flavor department.

On tap at TH.

Bright red pour, slightly hazy, with an inch of pinkish head that fizzled out within seconds; no retention or lacing to speak of. Typical look for a TH Berliner. Grainy nose with hints of cherry juice, meadowland florae. In the taste, grains, toasted wheat, Cherry 7Up, floral, with light grassy notes, low-key tartness. Light body, lower carbonation, crisp and decently drinkable. Not bad overall.

S- Tart, floral/hibiscus, strawberries, hints of cherries.

T- Tart lemons, cherries, some strawberries, all balanced by the hibiscus/floral flavors.

M- Smooth, light to medium body, crisp, refreshing.

O- A nice tart berliner, enjoyable. Worth trying.

32oz growler poured into a Tired Hands teku glass

Appearance: Pours straight up red in color with a negligible head that dissipates instantly. Zero retention or lacing. Body is hazy but translucent. Easiest way to describe the appearance would be a glass of fruit punch/kool-aid.

Smell: Lemon, grain, floral, hints of cherry.

Taste: Similar to the aroma, but with cherries a bit more noticeable. Some strawberry and wheat come through in the finish and aftertaste as well. Sourness is on the lower end of medium.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with medium/low carbonation. No alcohol, really refreshing and stupid high drinkability.

Overall: Has the same general character that I've found in almost all TH berliners, but the cherries and hibiscus, while subtle, do enough to distinguish it from the rest. If you like the style, it's definitely worth trying.
