Blended Hungarian oak barrel fermented and conditioned Super (scary) Saison. Roughly six months old. Fermented with a melange of our favorite yeast and bacteria. Showing beautiful notes of pungent Chardonnay grape, spicy green pepper, and acidic melon.

From 10/04/14 notes, on tap at the brewpub in Ardmore, PA.
Pours a hazy bright orange color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident. Funky wine, oak, earthy, brett, oranges, wheat, citrus. Medium body and low carbonation, easy to drink.
Overall I loved this, even better than Pope Lick Monster; they are really killing it right now with these two on tap. Maybe their best funky beer and saison to date, would love to have this again. Funky and lightly sour, lots of complexity.
