Rosé is a bright and zippy IPA that we brewed with hibiscus flowers, conditioned atop heaps of calamansi and lemon purée, and then dry hopped intensely with Citra, Amarillo, Centennial, and Simcoe.

My Third beer from this brewery I am going to try. I am unsure of this beer, a New England IPA but a Rose. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a pint glass. The color of the head on the beer is bright white. The pour on the glass produced a one finger frothy and airy head on the beer. The head dissipated quickly. The color of the beer is dark amber orange with a reddish tint. The beer has excellent clarity. The beer's head has diminished to a ring. Other than the poor showing of the head, the appearance of the beer is excellent.
The aromas in the beer are oranges, lemons, hibiscus, floral, herbal, toasted malts, a subtle malty sweetness, and some breadiness.
The flavors in the beer are oranges, herbal, hibiscus, floral, easter, toasted malts, grapefruit, cut grass, and yeasty.
The mouthfeel of the beer is astringent, fizzy, and dry.
The body of the beer is medium, high carbonation, and a medium finish.
The hibiscus is prevalent in the beer but not overpowering. The NEIPA in the beer is good but I have had much better. Overall the beer is good, I would not go looking for it again.

Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher glass, this beer pours out almost like a fruited tea. It’s kind of rosey with lemon highlights. It forms a finger worth of white bubbles to rest on top.
The nose brings a beautiful floral mixing with a slight sweetness. Smells light and refreshing.
The taste comes in much of the same way. This is refreshing and light. Touch of tartness.
Overall, this is great on a hot day. It’s light refreshing and offers a kiss of tartness. It’s not an ipa that carries a heavy hop presence, but it carries a nice, natural floral aspect.

16oz can, served in a snifter glass. Pours a medium copper-orange body, slight pink hue, one finger white head, fair retention, not much lacing. Smell is incredibly floral with a good bit of tropical fruit, with a bit of citrus and spice. Not much malt to be found on the aroma. The tropical fruit and floral combination works really well here. Flavour is a slightly different story. Floral to be sure, bit this also includes a mineral flavour that is fairly astringent to go along with the herbal bitterness on the backend. Minimal sweetness that doesn't help with the astringency. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, slightly dry with a floral bitterness on the finish.

Poured from a can into my TH Teku. Can is 2 weeks old.
L: A dark pinkish color with some slight orange/red color. Light pink off white head. Not much lacing.
S: Tart fruits with lemon, lime, grapefruit and some rose floral notes. I even get a bit of vanilla. Odd.
T: Wow, ok not what I expected at all. Very tart and sour with some very strange flavors. I get the lemon, grapefruit, and the rose pedal floral notes, but then comes the tart malt that is......sour. Not sour in a good way, but like sour as in mouth puckering drainpour sour. Finish leaves this really, really bad sour funky aftertaste that is just unbearable. Let me say, I am a huge, huge brett sour/barnyard/funk guy, even in IPAs. But this beer was not enjoyable with it's sourness. Offputting.
F: Tart/sour, prickly and some lingering off putting flavor. Low carbonation.
O: This is the very first Tired Hands beer that I could not finish. That never happens. I had to pour out half the can, I couldn't stand it anymore......and I'm even a sour/funk guy. Total miss in my book, a first.

On tap. Clear orange color, white head. Floral aroma with tangerine notes. Taste has tart tangerine, tea, hibiscus and a bitter, tea-like finish. Light body, high effervescence.

16 oz. can dated 4/21/17. Poured into Teku glass.
L: Beer is a pinkish copper. 2F head with poor retention. Only a few spots of lacing and a thin ring.
S: Lemon and floral are the predominant notes. A little bit of light malt.
T: Lots of lemon-lime and grapefruit with floral notes that remain through the palate. Tiny bit of malt. A little like a sugar-free Sprite wine cooler, but less malty and better.
F: Light bodied, strongly carbonated. Good construction. Comes out a tad sour with all the citrus. A good summer drink and probably would be better if they dropped the ABV to make it more crisp.
