Our collaboration IPA brewed with our great friend Ron Jeffries from @jollypumpkin! Brewed with a base of Pilsner malt, Teff, and couscous. Spiced with saffron. Hopped intensely with Mosaic and Centennial.

The beer pours a somewhat hazy gold color with pretty good head retention and lacing. Both on the nose and palate, there's a lot going on in this beer, with it reminding me of a hoppy Belgian golden ale, but with hints of sour funk as well. Otherwise, on the nose one gets considerable citrus, light vanilla, hints of clove and light funk, which is replicated pretty closely on the palate. There's some initial sweetness on the palate, but it's more than balanced by the considerable hoppy bitterness and light sour funk. The beer dries out pretty quickly on the finish, and the finish was a bit lean (which I think enhances it's overall drinkability). The finish is fairly long otherwise, and drinkability is terrific (not sure what the abv. is, but would guess in the 8% range?).
This was a beer that grew on me more and more as I went along. Impressive collaboration from the folks at TH and JP, and one I was very glad to have the opportunity to try.
Thanks Derek!

The beer comes in a vibrant light golden with a good amount of fluffy head, even with a gentle pour, presumably from the use of couscous and teff.
The flavor offers green mango, pineapple, lightly sweet crackery malt, juicy yellow grapefruit, green pine.
Truly a wonderful crusher.

This beer pours a completely opaque yellow/orange tropicana color with a huge, fizzy bright white head. Retention is excellent and there are many whispy webs of lacing. Smell is pineapple, mango, orange and a slight bit of green grassiness. Taste is the same with pineapple being the most prominent flavor. Starts off very fruity then transitions into a raw green bitterness on the finish. Nice hop bite. Feel is light side of medium and soft until the bitter finish. A bit overcarbonated as well. Overall a great beer. Love the bite on the finish. Not every IPA needs to be a total juice bomb. Just wish the carbonation was a little more subdued.
EDIT: As this beer warms the bitterness and the carbonation both seem to subside a little bit. Bumping feel from a 3.75 to a 4.

16 oz. can. Hazy yellow body. Smells of pilsner malt and citrus hops. Centennial hops are prevalent. Tastes strongly of pilsner malt also. Orange and grapefruit hops. Some mosaic bite too. Very bitter finish. Medium body. Aggressive IPA.
