Poured from a Tired hands growler into a Tired Hands Saison glass. Also drank plenty of this on tap while at Tired Hands.

A- Murky Reddish Brown with a egg shell head. You get about a finger of head that goes away fairly quick and leaves a nice lacing. Very different for a saison.

S-I get malts at first, a nice breadyness, Then the Nelson Sauvin pops out and dominates the smell from there on out. I get a lot of Pineapple sweetness, Berries, Dry White wine, Juicyness.A Tiny bit of pine and a little bit of saison yeast smell as well. Smells amazing

T- Berries, Pineapple, pine, White wine, a bit of pepper maybe from the Rye it was brewed with.

M- Very different mouth feel here, medium bodied, it feels as murky as it looks if that makes sense. Juicy with a Bit of bitterness and dryness on the finish. Maybe too drinkable

O- I checked out previous reviews and I guess this one was made once or twice before with what im assuming are different recipes. That may explain the pedestrian score this beer has. This has obviously changed as this beer is brewed now with Rye, Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe and has changed for the better. I love this beer its dangerously drinkable and once I drank it more I wanted more. Tired Hands really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Pours a copper tinted amber, prickly white head. Scent brings firm grassy, bitter hop notes with a bready and spicy backbone. Not overly complex flavor, spicy and bready in construction with more hop bitterness than flavor. Medium bodied, dry. Solid.

Thanks to yourefragile. Served in a Tired Hands wine glass. Medium amber. Short head. Earthy nose with some citrus. Dry with a good bitterness. Nose is my favorite part. Another winner from Jean. A nice twist on the standard saison. Would like to have this one again.

On tap at TH.

Hazy, medium brown pour with a cottony white head that retained well and coated the glass with lacing. In the nose, toasted bread, mildly funky yeast, fruity esters. The taste reflected the aroma mostly, toasted bread, saison yeast with a moderate funk to it, citrus peel and a little berry sweetness, with an earthy/herbal finish. Medium body, easily drinkable. Perhaps not an "ideal" saison, but still good for what it is.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy brown with reddish highlights and a small, slowly falling head. Decent patchy lace on the glass. Bready malt aroma with hints of strawberries; some citrusy hops; light spices and yeasty esters.

Flavor matches the nose; more bready and malty than most saisons; heavier than much of what Tired Hands does in the style; the strawberries are there, but they’re subtle; lightly bitter citrus and earthy hops; some grassiness as well; spices, other vague fruity yeast notes.

Medium body, smooth, moderate carbonation. Semi-dry finish with a bit of a lingering light bitterness in the aftertaste. A nice enough beer but feels a little bit muddled to me and not as beautifully conceived as Jean’s other saisons. Certainly interesting though.
