First had: on tap at the brewpub
Labeled as a "prog pale ale," for what should be obvious reasons.
Poured a slightly hazy orange-amber color with an amazingly creamy, dense, white head that retained well and left sheets of lacing on the glass. Aroma is pretty much right on for the style, bready malts overlaid with crisp grassy hops, citrus, and mellow pine notes. More of the same in the taste, a good balance of pale bready malts and crisp hops, orange, lemon, grass, apricot, lasting bitterness that isn't too intense or distracting. Body is on the lighter side of medium, nice and easily drinkable. There's room for improvement here, but overall this is a good, simple, no-nonsense pale ale.
