Served on-tap at the Brewpub. Reviewed from notes.
A - Pours clear golden yellow with a bubbly one finger tall white head leaving spotty trails of lace down the glass.
S - Smells of intense citric fruit rind, piney hops, pale malt and a touch of honey. A very nice nose on this one.
T - Starts off with a nice mix of citric fruit and piney hops that are strong throughout. Hints of pale malt and a touch of honey sweetness help round it all out. Finish is a little sweet with a decent amount of hop bitterness, lingering on the palate long after the finish.
M - Medium-Light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, hoppy feel with plenty of bitterness.
O - A very nice IPA. It is very hoppy yet it remains easy to consume. Another excellent hoppy beer from Tired Hands.

on tap at the brewery
Pours crystal clear light golden orange, large fluff of white head.
Nose filled with plenty of citrusy orange peel, bitter hops and a floral undertone. Soft sweetness with caramel and breadiness.
Familiar TH aggressive hoppiness up front - citrus peel, orange, a little spicy. Lightly sweet with caramel and a touch of honey. Crisp and dry finish.
Medium body, nice carbonation, creamy and sticky on the tongue. Another solid, in-your-face hopped up ale from the crew at TH. I look forward to every single one of their (D)IPAs, and for good reason.

32oz growler filled 12/30/12, enjoyed 12/31/12. Poured into a Hill Farmstead stem.
Pour: Clear bright orange, with a nice finger and a half of white frothy head. Leaves some clean, sticky lacing.
Smell: Big resnious pine of up front. In fact, I haven't noticed a beer bering so pine forward since the first time I had PtE. Some clean citrus fruits. A nice honey sweetness also comes out on the nose.
Taste: Again, lots of pine. A slight citrus, but very resinous and bitter throughout the palate. A nice caramel, honey sweetness tries to balance, but the taste is just dominated by hops.
Mouthfeel: Quite bitter, with a nice prickly carb. Quite drinkable given the full frontal assault of hops. A light hint of booze.
Overall: A really nice aggressive IPA. The most 'in your face' beer I've had yet fron Tired Hands.
