I appreciate tenderbranson69 for sharing this -enjoyed from the growler in a willybecker.
The color is practically black with thin medium tan head with fine bead and lace sticks clarity is opaque. The smell has a slight char note up front with a moderately pine-like hop scent and subtle yeast aroma. The feel has a nice roast quality with more hop dominant with mild sweetness level and medium bitterness with medium carbonation and moderately dry finish.
The taste is lightly roasted with mildly bitter entry and slight pine in the flavor with a dark roast coffee and dry cocoa-like accent with yeast fruitiness in the middle w/ chalky quality and lightly bitter malt aspect in the finish with yeast tang and citrus hop flavors lingering. Overall this is good with very nice drinkability for the style with earthy element and fairly balanced just a little chalky

32 oz growler poured into a teku
Appearance: Pours a dark brown color with 3 fingers of a creamy mocha colored head with good retention and lacing. Body is opaque.
Smell: Grapefruit, pine, citrus, slight spiciness and very mild roast
Taste: Citrusy hops, pine, resin, very slight hint of roast.
Mouthfeel: Light/medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and light carbonation.
Overall: Another good one from Tired Hands. Definitely leans more towards black IPA. Worth trying.
