On tap and from a growler later.
Appearance: cloudy dull yellow with a thin white head. Really interesting color.
Nose: Mango, pineapple, extremely fresh and juicy. Plenty of orange; both pith and zest, as well as some candied lemon, a hint of flowers, and toasted croissant.
Taste: A delicious combination of mango and clementine with pine needles and sweet lemon drops. Very elegant floral finish. Full and intensely flavored, but still sophisticated and clean.
Mouthfeel: Full and bubbly. A good bit of mouth feel was lost in the growler (only one week old).
Overall: Easily one of my favorite pale ales and definitely a a good way to start off 2013. Deliciously fruity and floral, yet delicate and sophisticated. This one should put Tired Hands way up on the hype-charts.
Serving type: growler
