Batch 2. Waxed and capped 500ml bottle into Tired Hands stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Gentle pour yields a .5 finger fine white head with low retention. Beer is a clear yellow. Lacing is minimal with low stick. Average.
Nose is yeasty with hints of cove, coriander and lemon spritz. Sweet, light and refreshing. Moderately aromatic. Solid.
Opens yeast, peppercorn and clove. Light lemon tartness in the middle with coriander and other floral notes. Funk at the end with some spiciness and lemon at the finish. Aftertaste of yeast and a slight hop bitterness. Pretty enjoyable.
Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down spritzy and sparkling. Goes down foamy with a clean finish and a soft, yeasty aftertaste. Really nice.
This beer's not quite there yet but I see a lot of potential. The body is great and the flavor just needs the slightest bit more tartness which could potentially develop with time. I'll certainly revisit this one in the future.

big thanks to Nick for this
pours a hazy straw pale yellow. little to no head, a thin ring of lacing. a hint of brightness.
nose blew me away, smells like a belgian gueuze. lemon, apples, funky, oak. just brilliant.
taste is no way resembles a gueuze though. a very light saison. starts out funky and spicy with a light fruit aspect. starts to fade and thin in flavor through the finish. subtle white wine and oak on the finish.
light with some bite that builds then fades. fairly dry.
quite good but such a bigger bolder nose than the flavor. wish this had a bit more to match the nose. easy drinker, very good.

500 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Hazy milky yellow. Nice white head with good retention.
Smell - Quite lactic acidity. Grainy malt. A little sweet. A little bit of that wine barrel, but not super strong. Oak, though.
Taste - Less tart than the nose implied. Hefty pale malt. Grainy behind the sweetness. Wine barrel blends in more than it's at the forefront.
Mouthfeel - A touch heavy. Very malty and medium carbonation.
Overall - Had this after Civil Disobedience #5, which put HandFarm on the back foot immediately. This is still very good.
Edit: Drank another batch 1 bottle in March 2014 and I don't know why I was complaining about heaviness. This is crisp and pleasantly tart. I don't get as much pale malt either. Grainy with a nice wine barrel character. Excellent. I have not changed my numbers to reflect this, though.
