Super Saison. Brewed with wheat. Fermented with our Emptiness yeast culture in one of our large oak foudres for many months. Pungent.

Drank the 2022 version. Did not expect it to be gold in color. It had a funky, weed like smell initially. I would describe the taste as a funky sour.

Whatever, Nevermind (2018) from Tired Hands. Received from @Roy_Hobbs in BIF #14. 750 mL capped and corked bottle. Stored at home at 38 degrees. Reviewed 3/12/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottle stamped under barcode on label “11/30/18”. Served at 53.6 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 59.9 degrees.
Appearance – 3.5
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), clear.
Body – Pale Gold (SRM 4), clear. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Average (Maximum 3.5 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density, diminishing to a seven to twelve mm crown fed by aggressive effervescence and a complete cap.
Lacing – Fair. Drag marks of tiny to small bubbles.
Aroma – 3.5 – Fruity and funky, no malt, no hops, no yeast. Is that a hint of honey as well?
Flavor – 4 – Taste follows the nose but no honey. No malt, no hops, no yeast. No ethanol (8.1 % ABV, according to BA, NOT marked on container) taste or aroma. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. A fruity funk is present throughout. Ends tart with tannic acid.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, watery, soft but lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Pleasing fruity/funky flavor with supporting aroma and mouthfeel. My first from Tired Hands – they don’t make it this far west.

A - Nice dark gold colored pour with a thick, white, frothy head with light and steady carbonation.
S - Tart, sticky, funky light tropical fruit aroma, and very dry.
T - Tart, fruity with a puckering twang, light sourness, and some spiciness.
M - Medium body, very dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth waters.
O - Very puckering at first and the alcohol is completely hidden in this beer.
