Jean's new Darwin solera series made an appearance today. A Brett pale ale brewed with wheat and cascade hops

A- as hazy and light as it can be, entropic glows within the glass. Great foam slowly recides leaving lacing all around the edges. Completely stunning with the bright color that embodies the glass. Juicy and inviting

S- a citric lemon burst is completely present from the initial scent. The presence of Brett is definitely there with a good wheat scent. So refreshing and crisp with the flavor combination. One of the more lemon forward profiles I've found that only gets better with the Brett near the backend

T- delicious tropical flavors overscore a tasty musty grape scent. The Brett comes in a produces a funky taste combination of flavor. Simply tropical and funky at the same time. This is completely showcased as a lemon juice emphasis as well. What a juicy brew!

M- flavorful sting on the palate with great feel. Kind of takes a bite of your taste buds

O- excellent pale ale and Brett partnership thar is seldom pursued. Completely drinkable with excellent flavors present. Way to kick off this series with a juicy lemon bomb!
