This poured out as a very nice looking golden color with a fluffy white head on top. The lacing is good and the retention is also oretty impressive. The smell of the beer is floral, with plenty of hoppy citrus on the nose, there is a subtle malt sweetness too. It's a nice smelling brew for sure. The taste is even better, lots of piney and fruity hops flood the tastebuds on this brew, there is a nice balance of sweet malt that comes through more in the finish. The mouthfeel has some good density to it and is a bit oily, very nice stickiness and very smooth. Overall very good stuff, Really enjoyable, nice to see this brewery getting progressively better over the course of time. (684 characters)

4oz taster pour
Enjoyed on 2/28/13

A: This pours out slightly hazy bright orange color. Lots like an IPA. Soapy white bubbly head on the top. Dropped a little bit while drinking, but lingered a while. Good lacing sheeting.

S: Nice mix of fruity and citrus hops with more of that pine earthiness. Mild malt bill. Nice stab at a WC style brew.

T: Up front, you get some grapefruit and citrus hop bitterness. You also get some of that bright pine character. Malt bill is there with touches of faint caramel. Close is clean and dry like IPA should be.

M: Light medium on body. (576 characters)

On tap at Tired Hands Brewing Co. Served into an 8 ounce glass.

A: Hazy golden sunset yellow body with a rich, creamy white head sitting on top. Lacing and retention are very nice on this one as well. Really nice looking beer.

S: Citrusy hop aromas mixed with some grassy hop notes too. Mango, orange, and hints of lemon peel. The bitterness isn't overly assertive on the nose but its presence is certainly noticeable.

T: Massive quantities of different hop flavors coming through. More of the citrus, orange notes like the aroma had. Bitter but well-balanced and not over the top. Smooth transition of flavors with enough pale malt to back up the hops.

M: Nicely carbonated, creamy and smooth. Very easy drinking beer. It's hard to fault Tired Hands much with their carbonation levels, almost perfect.

This was really good. The hop flavors at times seemed a bit chaotic but in the end, worked well and made a tasty IPA to drink. (935 characters)

First had: on tap at TH

Golden yellow pour, hazy to the point of being nearly opaque, topped with a dense, foamy, white head; nice retention and lacing. Hoppy nose, citrus, pine, light mango rind. The taste was equally hop-laden, displaying a wide variety of hops, citrus zest, pine needles, light tropical fruit, fairly bitter throughout, with a definite toasted grain / rye profile coming through as well. Light-medium mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, drying finish. Nice overall. (485 characters)
