First had: on tap at TH

Murky, medium brown pour, with a small beige head; moderate retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted grains, roasty caramel malts, honey. More of the same in the taste, toasted cereal grains, roasty malts, burnt caramel and a touch of honey (less pronounced than the nose), with an earthy and slightly bitter finish. Medium body, and pretty drinkable overall.

This poured poured a deep brown with some orange around the edges. There is a creamy looking tan head on top. The lacing and retention are pretty good on this beer. The smell of the beer is roasted and earthy, it's got a big nose of grains with a subtle amount of chocolate in there too. The taste of the beer is earthy with a roasted finish. The oats are the most dominant part of the flavor profile on this. The mouthfeel is soft, dry and very drinkable. Overall this as a really nice Mild, I feel this fits the style quite well.
