Thanks, YaKnowBrady!
A dark brown, but a very clear dark tree sap around the edges. Small khaki colored head. Some persistence. Leaves the glass covered with messy spiderweb-style lacing.
An earthy and roasty aroma, along with a complementary and distinct kettle corn and nut aroma. Some cocoa presence as well. Pleasant and relatively simple.
The flavor follows the aroma: earth, simple roast, brown bread, and freshly toasted kettle corn. A hint of a nut element. Very drinkable.
Medium bodied. Creamy carbonation. Roasty finish.
Nice dark saison, though fairly simple and straightforward. Would drink again if given the opportunity, but I wouldn't ask for another fill of this one.
