First had: on tap at TH
Hazy pale yellow pour, nearly opaque, with a solid cap of creamy white head that retained well and coated the glass with lacing. I do love Simcoe hops, in case I've never mentioned it before, and they were bountiful in the aroma, nice and grapefruity, with an underlying bready yeast coming through. Good melding of brett and citrusy hops in the taste, notes of tropical fruit, sweet malts. Smooth, soft mouthfeel, light-medium body, and pleasantly drinkable.
Serving type: on-tap

Growler poured into a Tired Hands wine stem.
Pour: Bright, hazy golden orange with three fingers of foamy, thick white head. Lots of sticky lacing, and the head retains for most of the glass.
Smell: Big spicy yeast notes up front, and a touch of earthy funk. Some dank floral and grassy notes, as well a a touch of bright citrus. Lots of bready yeast.
Taste: Very similar to the nose, but with a bigger presence of citrus. Lots of earthy funk. Some stone fruits. A bit of white pepper. Finishes with stone fruits and earthy funk.
Mouthfeel: Lightly bitter. Mildly drinkable due to the heavy brett influence, but refreshing nonetheless.
Overall: Another excellent Tired Hands offering. I wish I had more access to the Darwin series.
