Thanks Slatetank for sharing this growler with me. Poured into a matching Tired Hands wine glass, the brew alpears a clouded golden orange with a creamy off-white topping. The cap fades leaving patches and stringy lace.

The aroma is quite hoppy with herbs, rinds and citrus zest. Some tropical aspect blending to grass and a faint floral component. Quite juicy smelling with almost a bundle of pellet hop smell about it.

The taste is herbal and zesty with fruit and pulp flavors that get pithy and a bit piney. Fruity alcohol starts to evolve with lots of hop juiciness. The bitterness is quite modest but fitting of the style.

This is medium bodied feeling almost creamy with a moderate to low level of carbonation. The way this brew started off was kinda boring with the "same old same old" tired hands hoppy beer feel but as my glass emptied, it started to grow on me. I would drink this again, thanks Matt.

64 oz. growler poured into a wine glass.

Appearance - Lots of grapefruit hops. Smells like simcoe, but with some citrus to balance it. A little bit of grain. No sweetness.

Taste - Aggresive hops again. Juicy grapefruit. More bright citrus than the simcoe elements. A touch of grain. Just enough malt sweetness keeps the bitterness at bay.

Mouthfeel - Dry and medium bodied. Moderate bitterness.

Overall - This is great. Simple, clean, and a total hop bomb.

On tap at Tired Hands

A- pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small foamy white head, decent retention with some lacing.

S- sharp evergreen, citrus and floral hop, underlined by a sweet aroma of pineapple and mango with a trace of mint

T- floral, piney and fruity hops up front with a dominant honey sweetness, smooth oats, lots of sweet bready malt near the finish, with lingers of pineapple and floral honey

M- medium body and carbonation leads to a super creamy mouthfeel and a sticky-yet-smith finish

O- really liked the sweet honey and floral notes on this one, definitely a unique ipa

This beer poured a hazy yellow. A nice 3/4 inch head that left great lacing on the glass. The aroma was very intense and had strong notes of pineapple, grapefruit and tangerine. Mouth feels was extremely rounded , which i guess comes from the use of wheat in the mash. The initial flavor is of honey bell orange and pink grapefruit. The finish is long and has notes of pineapple and fresh cut grass. The bitter piney notes are pronounced but smooth. Maybe the best IPA I have had from a PA brewery!

Poured into a tulip. Unfiltered hazy tangerine color. Nice thick white heading with some good lacing throughout.

From the get go I get a blast of simcoe hops, a touch of lemon zest. Slight yeast and the oats do come out a bit.

That light grapefruit - lemony combination is killer at first. But a subtle smoothness and grassy edge takes hold for a nice finish. A dank oat background kind of hangs around the entire ride. Lingers a bit on the palate. Very enjoyable !

Light bodied , good carbonation. A little bit more on the less chewy side which makes this very quinchable. Crisp and clean.

Lighter ABV and very tasty makes this probably one of the very best sessionable beers around town . (Philly and Burbs) Very impressive and tasty.

Tired Hands is rapidly becoming my favorite brewpub/brewery in PA. I always seem to find excuses to go well out of my way just to get a growler and try some 4 oz. beers.
