On cask at Tired Hand, June 2013:
This is an outstanding beer, although I must confess that I have really been enjoying lower ABV English Pale Ales, ESBs and other sessionable beers as of late. If I lived in the area, I would be at the pub every day that this beer was on tap/on cask. The beer was a nice, bright, slightly hazy orange that produced a light foamy white head that was very well retained and settled into thin cap. The beer had a nice, not to hoppy aroma, but citrus and earthy/flowery hops. The beer was well balanced with a nice biscuit flavor in addition to the hop characteristics noted in the nose. The beer had a light-to-moderate feel and it was extremely easy to drink, smooth, and refreshing. I am not really sure what they could do to improve the beer as this is outstanding.
