Thanks to BA Slatetank for hooking me up with a 1-liter of this. Poured into an over-sized Tired Hands wine glass the brew appears a clear golden yellow with a frothy white topping nearly 3 fingers strong. It displays solid retention and paints the wall of the glass with a webbing as it fades.

The aroma is leafy with citrus hops that are somewhat grassy and rindy with a slight herbal edge. A sweet biscuit to grainy fresh backing is present but the hops are pretty much the star of the show.

The taste is mutually hoppy but with hop flavor moreso than bitterness. The bitterness is kept low-key only to keep the biscuit to bready malt sweetbess from getting too bold. The hop flabor is lightly grassy with some citrus and rind with a fruity zest aftertaste that lasts.

This is a light bodied brew with a modest level of carbonation. It is crisp, clean and absolutely crushable. Very well balanced. I wish I would have gotten a 2-liter instead of just 1. For a style of beer that really doesnt get much attention, they hit this one out of the park...like upper deck, way out of the park.

I had this at the Tired Hands 1st Anniversary celebration, served chilled in a willybecker.

The color is slightly tarnished golden with mild haze and thin creamy white cap. The bead is average sized and lace sticks well. The smell is very hop forward and slightly herbal with a mild citrus tinge. The feel is very good with smooth body and moderate bitterness with very dry finish and moderate carbonation.

The flavor is very hop saturated with a noble hop flavor which is both herbal and mild tinged with lemon zest and slightly grassy and spicy too. The flavor of the malt is very gentle with light toasted dry flavor with a nice yeast background taste that supports the hops well. The hop flavor is dominant but not overly agressive for the styel either it is a well crafted beer in every sense. I was pleasantly surprised with the first beer I had at Tired Hands

First had: on tap at TH

I pretty much don't like pilsners at all. This however, was mighty tasty. Technically labeled as a "keller pilsner."

Slightly hazy golden-yellow pour with a frothy white head that receded to a ringlet, leaving nice lacing on the glass. Crisp, clean aroma, pils malts, grass, grapefruit and lemon. Upon tasting, there's no doubt that this is a pilsner, with a definite grainy pils maltiness coming through, crisp hops soon taking over, flavors of grass, grapefruit and lemon zest. Actually very close to a pale ale profile, which--for me, at least--was a good thing, but with that smooth lagery sweetness ever present. Light body, but full of crisp zesty flavor, tremendously drinkable.
