Thanks to Mike for this. 32oz. flip top growler (2 days old) into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a nice 1.5 finger foamy white head with moderate to poor retention. Beer is a cloudy, unfiltered grapefruit yellow. Lacing is stringy and spotty with great stick. Phenomenal considering the serving style.

Nose is citrus, papaya, mango, star fruit, cane sugar and dank hop juice. Aromatic. This one reminds me of a Hill Farmstead IIPA... which is saying a lot. Really good and enticing.

Opens cane sugar, citrus, papaya and mango pulp. More tropical fruit in the middle builds a strong, robust malt body. Hop bitterness lingers in the background but never really emerges to the forefront. End is dry and fruity with an accented hop presence right before the finish. Aftertaste of citrus and cane sugar. Very, very good.

Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation. Slick, dry and smooth in the mouth and goes down slightly prickly. Dry, clean finish with a sticky, filmy, puckeringly dry aftertaste. Near perfect. So drinkable for the ABV.

I've said it in this review before and I'll say it again, this IIPA is on par with, if not better than all the Hill Farmstead IIPA offerings I've had. The tropical fruit presence is huge and the hop bitterness complements the malt body almost perfectly. The feel and nose are second to none too. I haven't been a huge fan of all of Tired Hands' offerings but this one is not to be missed. Outstanding!

A: Pours an unfiltered yellow, orange, brown color. Lighter colored and more like a wheat beer in appearance.

S: Citrus, zest, hop aroma.

T: Really nice flavor and the orange has a significant presence. It scales back the hop flavor a bit but adds a nice refreshing subtle fruit flavor for a summer brew. Nice bitter pine hop pop on the back.

M: Light yet loads a flavor.

O: Really nice brew and enjoying the freshness of the hops yet fruity.
