Appearance: A normal pour produced 1'' of tan colored head. The beer is black and opaque. Lacing was tan and absolutely perfect. Beautiful color, considering the tropical smell (spoiler alert) of this beer.
Smell: Smell is of sour biscuit malts, pine, pineapple, and orange.
Taste: Taste is of bitter pine, pineapple, and then ... CHOCOLATE. Beautiful dark baking chocolate. How is this working so well? Flavor duration is average to long, sweetness is light, and bitterness is moderate (from the chocolate).
Mouthfeel: Body is light, texture is thin, slick, and oily. Carbonation is average, and the finish is bittersweet.
Overall: Extremely cool twist with the chocolate. Great and unique brew. Rockin!
