**Can't believe that it has been over a year since my first visit. I have got to be closing in on 50 now. Food, atmosphere and service all get a bump up.**
Even tho I live nearly two hours away, I have been here three times already. I think it is time to give this place a proper goings over. Here we go.
Downstairs is kinda small overall. Decent sized bar on the right with the "kitchen" right behind it. Chalk menu's let you know the menu and drafts. A few tables and the bathrooms on the left and the brewery at the rear of the building. Upstairs feels much bigger. Large bar at the back with quite a few tables in the front. Just as downstairs, menu's are located on the wall.
Atmosphere is pretty good. There is definitely a hipster feel to the place but I kinda like it. Its really laid back and the servers are all really nice and helpful. I have had to wait a few times but they have been when it was packed for events. The whole place feels top notch.
Lots of saison's and hoppy beers to choose from, it is what they do best after all. I have liked everything I have tried so far, and that is pretty much everything. The food is sparse but very good. If they add a few more options I will definitely bump this score up.
Overall a really great new brewery that I look forward to getting to know better over the future. I wish Jean and the guys nothing but the best.

Most everyone agrees that Tired Hands makes amazing beers and is a very cool place, as do I. But I figured I would go the constructive criticism route and talk about the things that weren't great.
First and foremost, Their growler policy sucks. It's a shameful way to make a few more bucks. If State law allows for filling of outside growlers then you are just being greedy and arrogantly placing yourself above the local beer market. I would fully understand if they were picky and refused to fill a questionable one but their policy is a slap in the face to the micro market/community that allows them to be so successful.
Second is the bathroom situation. The restaurant/bar area is large, well used space and is decorated very nicely. Very inviting and comfortable. This, coupled with the tremendous beers obviously attracts crowds. There is one bathroom. I apologize if there is another one I couldn't find but the line leads me to believe I was correct. Not one men's room, just one customer accessible toilet. You can imagine how that works out.
Last, and perhaps in some way not even TH's fault, is the 4 growlers I took home with me didn't travel well at all. All 4 were among the best beers I've ever tried at the bar, but were mediocre less than 24 hrs later out of the growler. I've been all over and bought tons of beer in all types of glass. Some travels better than others. These lost the most quality in the shortest amount of time/distance traveled that I've experienced.
My review may come off as aggressive. That is not my intention, I just wanted to touch on some things not mentioned in most other reviews. I will absolutely go back next time I'm close by. Hopefully some of these things are different.
