Rating from notes. Consumed September 2013. "A boilerplate session pale with a nice range of flavours. Worth a try."

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a soft golden yellow color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sticking around the glass. The smell had a nice blend of sweet citrus to bitter grapefruit, backed up by a light caramel sweetness. The taste was mainly sweet with a fair bitterness about it. On the palate, this sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. The carbonation was slightly prickly but still sat towards the APA style. Overall, good APA I’d have again.

Appearance: Pours clear and amber colored, with a modest head that fades quickly; a few splashes of lace
Smell: Earthy, with caramel and tea tones
Taste: Caramel malt forward, with earthy tea tones developing; the bitterness builds in the middle but it is overtaken by the malt through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A bit of a disappointment from Mother Earth; don't particularly care for the flavor profile here
Thanks, kevindp9, for the opportunity

Sort of a dark golden, if even slightly amber color. Smells very much like bread and caramel, with some fresh citrus notes as well. Tastes sweet and malty, lightly hoppy. Some may desire more hops, but I think it's delicious the way it is. Feels crisp, medium bodied and very drinkable. Probably my favorite APA I had in Arizona.

12oz single bottle - the label has a certain summer dusty drive across the American southwest vibe going for it, that's for sure!
This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium copper amber colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, chunky, and somewhat silken off-white head, which leaves some dense sudsy island group lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away.
It smells of bready and doughy caramel malt, some red apple, orange, white grapefruit, and overripe pear fruitiness, a touch of free-range yeastiness, and subtle earthy, leafy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy caramel malt, a twinge of biscuity toffee, mixed apple and generic citrus fleshy fruit, tame earthy yeast, a soft oily nuttiness, and more floral, weedy, and herbal hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly restrained in its gently probing frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, just a wee acrid hoppy thing attempting to rain on the parade here. It finishes well off-dry, the base malt, in its ephemerally biscuity guise, keeping a keen eye on those lingering green hops.
Overall, a well-balanced iteration of the American version of the style - the hops aren't yer typical citrus/pine smack upside the head, but rather a nice blend of various fruit and verdant esters. Easy to drink, and interesting - I could surely see putting back a few of these at a derelict rest stop whilst cruising along the old Route 66.

This was okay, but hops & malts were fairly tamped down. A little to much cereal sweetness for my liking
