Pours out a hazed brown with hardly any head at first. The head completely goes away shortly. Smells like brown sugar, toast, and grain. Tastes really sweet, very toasty and grainy. Booze is apparent. Lacking German bock traits and leans more towards a "double" Shiner Bock. Mouthfeel is kind of sticky and lacks some carbonation. For all of the literature on the can saying how it's trying to be an example of a German style bock (and making subtle references dismissing Shinter's flagship), it actually tastes like something from the Spoetzel brewery (but not as good).
