Color- sediment filled medium dark honey. Full head.
Aroma- funky yeasty sharp edge, floral notes, and hint of canned fruitcake.
Taste- awful! Either this was a bad bottle or this is the most awful Belgian Saisons ever. Tastes like soured milk and rotten fruit in a tin can. We had to pour out our glasses and the bottle after two small sips. Purchased locally at Twin Liquors in North Austin. Tasted on 5/31/14.

Poured from the bomber into a chalice.
Review from notes: January 17th, 2014.
A: Hazy copper. Nice white head.
S: Tart apple, some citrus. No malt or hops detectable.
T: Nice. Smooth front, somewhat bitter. Floral, but not overpowering.
M: Very bubbly on the tongue. Dry aftertaste.
O: Pretty good. Nice flavor. Not really a saison.

Bottle says “Belgian Style Saison” on the label. (So it’s clearly not Saison D’Austin. Apparently.)
I didn’t have any problems opening this, as I saw others had with different beers from South Austin.
This pours a dark straw-light amber with decent foam.
Smells like an estery-citrus blossom character. It’s undercut with a touch of honey.
The flavor is estery-sweet, with some floral clover-honey characters and a bit more sweet malt backing.
It’s not terrible but it’s not terribly interesting either.
